Jay Massey

I have a very strong opinion of just about anything that has to do with creativity, and most times I have a love/hate feeling when it comes throwbacks. However, today we received a shipment from Jay Massey that I completely admired. I really enjoy the concept of pulling from the old design features found in classic pipes and recreating within a new medium, glass! These are wonderfully crafted and Jay Massey has successfully breathed new life into a otherwise old design. And to any haters I leave you with the following quote that reminds me that we all need the past to guide us forward. Connection is everything! 'Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination...And don’t bother concealing your thievery—celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from—it’s where you take them to." - Jim Jarmusch
